Sarah Takens

Sarah Takens is an abstract artist based in the heart of The Hague, known for her vibrant textures, layered compositions, and intuitive creative process. For her, I produced a collection of cinematic and creative videos that bring viewers closer to the world behind her work.

The series focuses on the emotion and movement that shape her art by showing the brushstrokes, the materials, and the quiet moments in her studio where ideas take form. Through atmospheric visuals, soft lighting, and immersive sound design, the videos reveal both the chaos and the calm that define her artistic identity.

Alongside these process-focused pieces, I also created social videos that highlight her finished works and day-to-day creative flow. Together, these visuals help position Sarah’s abstract art within a broader narrative: authentic, expressive, and deeply connected to her environment.
